Driftwood information

All of our driftwood sculptures are made of hardwood and having been eroded and sanitised by the salty waters of the south west pacific region they will last indefinitely in any climate.

Driftwood is essentially wood that has been washed onto a shore or beach of a sea or river by the action of winds, tides, waves or man. It is a form of marine debris. The combined actions of the elements over sometimes hundreds of years creates individually unique driftwood sculptures with no one piece being the same as another.
